We are happy to unveil our debut product Neighbour: 01. Guided by a commitment to product and people, we at Held make a candle that is free of compromise, and full of enjoyment. We’ve created a candle with a use beyond its looks that places importance on occasions and human connections. Candles are the catalyst for moments, indulging alone, or with those you love. Understanding that every moment is different, we have made one candle that works in three unique ways whilst displayed or lit. Creating a mood that fits the moment, not the other way around.

At its heart, the Neighbour: 01 candle gives you the freedom to choose between two distinct looks, by simply flipping the candle over. Each orientation has its own feel, from the subtle diffused light of the wishbone shaped candelabra, to the striking architectural form of the suspended arch. These simple building blocks can make complex sculptural elements when two candles are nested together: an entirely new centrepiece, ideal for those big occasions.

Thoughtful design combined with natural materials, the Neighbour: 01 candle is a step towards fuss-free luxury. It’s only right to use the finest and safest ingredients, starting with the 100% natural beeswax as the core material. This unique resource is a natural and biodegradable by-product from the beekeeping industry, and provides an exceptionally slow and clean burn. The flame emits a warm glow and subtle scent, creating a special mood.

Stepping away from fast paced product launches give us the time to take things slow. With no limit on development, refining and testing each new piece, the quality becomes apparent at first look and continues with the first touch. It is the journey that matters most, forever looking to improve and learn through experiences, feedback and new advancements

When something isn’t perfect, it's improved. This is why every candle is handmade in the UK, and the making remains a core principle of ours. We often use Held Made as our longhand name to give respect to these values.
